• Camera (Android permission: android.permission.CAMERA): When you opt in and invoke camera-based features, we capture images/video only to perform that feature (e.g., scanning or taking a photo within the App). We do not access the camera in the background.
• Photos/Media (e.g., Photo Picker or media read permissions): If you choose a photo or video from your device, we access only the item(s) you select. We recommend using the Android photo picker where available to avoid broad media access.
• Location (e.g., ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION): With your consent, we may collect approximate or precise location to power location-based features (e.g., recommendations or map context). We do not collect background location unless explicitly required and consented to; if added in the future, we will update this policy and request separate consent.
• Push Notifications (device tokens): If you opt in, we receive a push token to deliver notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
• Usage & Diagnostics: App interactions, device type, OS version, crash logs, and performance metrics to improve stability and features.
• Account/Contact Information (if provided): Name, email, and any content you submit via forms or support requests.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Services and their features.
• Process your requests (e.g., capture via camera, choose photo, location-aware functionality).
• Send service notifications and, if you opt in, push notifications.
• Monitor performance, debug issues, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us operate the Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, notifications). They are bound by contractual confidentiality and use restrictions.
• Legal and safety recipients if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy.

4. Your Choices & Controls

• Permissions: You can grant or revoke Camera, Photos/Media, and Location permissions in your device settings at any time.
• Push notifications: Disable in App or device settings.
• Access/Deletion: You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data by contacting us (see “Contact Us”). We will honor requests as required by applicable law.

5. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data unless we must retain it for legal reasons.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections consistent with applicable law.

Our legal bases include consent (e.g., camera, location), performance of a contract (providing the App), and legitimate interests (e.g., safety, improvement).

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date, and where required, we will obtain additional consent.
